death note: the mascarade

1. it begins with me randomly selecting a user, the first that i select shall become kira, the second that i choose shall become L
(it does not matter if you do not get selected, the students are as big a part of this site as L/kira are. and this game could be over very quickly if one of them plays it badly, and when that happens the game restarts with two more random users!)

2. i will not publish this information, and only i will know who is who....i will inform kira of kira's identity, and L of L's identity, it is important i do not tell anyone else who anyone is....just know that if you are not told then you are not one of them

2. now that the users are selected, everyone else becomes the main important body of the game. they become the students.

3. L and Kira both have one very similair goal: -!to find the others username!

4. to do this they must socialise, in the school, around the school etc. they must consider it possible for anyone to be their target other (EXCEPT ADMINS!)

so how do you find the other person? and especially without being found yourself?

5. making friends, getting to know people is essential, you must attempt to gather as many friends as you can- this will become aparrant why later i promise

6. ask them questions!! it doesn't matter how obscure, weird or difficult they may be, if they help to raise/lessen the suspicions surrounding a user then its good to ask them...but ask too many questions and you'll appear suspicious

7. friends can be played off each other- if you have two friends, but they hate each other then they will be more open to share gossip or suspicions with you

8. you can play it however you want! wether you are L/kira or not you can say you are. wether you support L/kira or not you can say you do. deception and lying is gonna make winning easier

8.5. posts are your way of talking, anyone can overhear you and that can be a good or a bad thing, but PM are your way of whispering, use PM's to talk in private where others cant read it...

9. if you so wish to, then tell anyone you want (everyone!) that you are L/kira it is your decision

10. but just because someone says they are L/kira doesn't mean they are!

10. everything on this site is your decision and is do-able, nothing can be too underhanded or manipulative
